The Harriet Tubman Center for Cultural and Educational Advancement
Her Mission, Our Passion
The Harriet Tubman Center for Cultural and Educational Advancement secures funding through donations and award monies to provide supplemental resources that enrich and enhance teaching and learning in DelMarVa and DMV area school districts and help prepare students for the twenty-first century.
In partnership with the public and private sectors, the Harriet Tubman Center for Cultural and Educational Advancement financially supports creative and innovative programs in the areas of academics, the arts, and extra-curricular activities that engage students and staff while enriching and enhancing the education offered by DelMarVa and DMV area school districts. The Harriet Tubman Center for Cultural and Educational Advancement also awards scholarships to students who pursue post-secondary education.
To ensure students are prepared for the challenges of the twenty-first century, the Harriet Tubman Center for Cultural and Educational Advancement funds innovative programs and services that supplement and enhance curriculums outside the normal operations of DelMarVa and DMV area school districts.
